you are called

This is my Sunday School Lesson for 9/5/2010

You are called (Scriptures)

Act 10: 34. Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Meaning what?? That What God did for Moses, Elijah, St. Peter and Paul and Brother Oral Roberts and Smith Wigglesworth, HE WILL DO FOR YOU AND ME!

What do you think of this statement: God does not choose certain people in which to be special!///
Instead, People choose for GOD, to be special to them..allowing HIM to reveal Himself to them!

HAVE YOU been called to be special to God, to be blessed by HIM, to be special to HIM……..Lets See!!

1. Jermi 33; 3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Who is he talking to…those that call on HIM and who is that? Christians that DO. All have that privilege but not all do

2. Jermi 29; 13. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Who will find him…..those that seek HIM with their WHOLE heart.

3. Matt 6: 33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
What and WHO are to seek and what happens than….I receive!

4. Psalms 34: 10. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
Young lions those that run about and try to do it on their own (my thoughts) but mature seek the LORD and HE will Provide!

5. Psalms 23 1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
What does a shephard do HE leads to the place where needs will be meet!

6. 1 john 5: 14. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him
Heb 11: 6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. We must have faith….WE must to receive from HIM!

7. Mark 11; 24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
What does this scripture say you will receive?? That which you believe,
Not necessary what you pray Do you believe what you are praying or do you waiver?? James 1:6-7 !!

8.Mark 9: 23. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. WOW can you Imagine that.. Remember the upper room, or the tower of Babal? Any other examples!

10. John 16: 24. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

No where does it say in these scripture that these were for certain one a certain chosen person, They say if you ask in faith believing HE will give to you!

tongues

Reason for tongues 2010

First just a quick note and not for discussion right now ok? OK?? OK??
There are two different types of tongues…..Neither of which is a learned or know language by the person giving them but they are SUPERNATURAL in Character!
1. The Gift of tongues (a supernatural gift of the Holy Spirit) as in 2 Cor 12: 10. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11. But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
THIS ONE IS the one that has to interoperated as it is spoken out in church to edify the Body.
2. Is this language which is our personnel prayer language, that we use when we are praying in the Spirit to the Lord and that TONGUES does not need an interpretation we are speaking directly to the Lord and not even the devil knows what we are saying . (we can ask for the interpretation and sometimes He will give it to us but not always).
REASONS:
1, it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit……..
It is the initial evidence because it is usually the first sign of that baptism that people see in us and it is something we all get to do.
Many are anointed with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit but until the
Manifestation of speaking in tongues there is stll more to receive.
DO I have to speak in tongues….. No but you get to…. At the baptism we receive the power of the Holy Spirit but in most cases tongues is manifested first.
2. Rom 8:26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
The Word infirmities here mean Weaknesses or shortcomings
Have you ever been praying and run out of things to pray for or don’t have any idea of how to pray for a situation? OR maybe woke up in the night or nudged to pray .but no idea what for.
That is when the Holy Spirit according to Rom 8’26 come to the rescue
By praying in tongues you are praying the will of God and it is the Holy Spirit praying thru you.
When you yourself are in a bind, praying in the Spirit will show and help you be victorious when you yourself don’t know what needs to be done about that problem. Such as Finances, relationships , health etc
Rom 8: 27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God
We have heard of many time a person was praying in the Spirit and later sometimes years later, they found out that they were praying for a person (they might not even know them) and their lives were spared from something that was out to harm them.
3. Jude 20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Building your self up………EDIFY and STRENGETHNS the inner man helps us get stronger in the Lord. How much praying in the Spirit do we need to do?? WELL, How strong in the Lord do you want to get?

Looks good

EVERY Apple that
Satan
Offers has

WORMS
Think on this

James 1: 17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Mercy

God's mercy endures forever! His willingness to act on man's behalf is still operating in the earth. His mercy never runs out. Neither has it abated or weakened.

"Praise the Lord! His mercy endureth forever!" Mighty and powerful things happened when Israel said these words. They are words of praise and adoration to God.

When Solomon finished building the house of the Lord, the trumpeters and singers lifted their voices as one, and with trumpets, cymbals, and instruments of music, they praised the Lord saying, "For He is good: for His mercy endureth forever."

Jehoshaphat appointed singers unto the Lord to go before the army and say, "Praise the Lord! For His mercy endureth forever."

It has been thousands of years since the Lord said His mercy extended to a thousand generations, and His mercy continues to reach you day after day. He is still plenteous in mercy unto them that call upon Him. With your spirit, dare to stretch your faith to take in the boundless mercy of God. And say with your mouth, "The Lord He is good and His mercy endureth forever. His mercy surrounds me even today!"

courage comes by faith

Courage comes from trusting God. It can't be mentally drummed up. It comes from believing what God says regardless of what the circumstances look like. Courage comes from faith!

Where does discouragement come from? From fear and unbelief. It comes when you listen to the devil's lies about what God is not going to do for you.

As the people of God, you and I must shake off discouragement and rise up with courage! We must quit looking at our own abilities and failures and limitations and start looking to God. We must rise up in the Name of Jesus and the power of His Spirit and establish the kingdom of heaven upon earth.

If you've been discouraged lately, stop listening to Satan's lies. Stop receiving evil reports. Whenever someone tells you God is not going to deliver you, just tell them, "He's already delivered me in the Name of Jesus."

Once you begin to realize who you are and what you've been given by the power of God, you'll quit letting the devil run all over you. God didn't suggest that you be strong and courageous. That is His command!

A Nation in a nation

The CHURCH

2 Chronicles 7:14 states, If my people, which are called by my name,(ALL THOSE CALLED BY THE NAME OF JEHOVAH,GOD and HIS SON, JESUS) shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. . (Matt 18: 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heave)

First Peter 2;9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, God, Himself calls us a NATION.

Most churches consider their self’s as a body that comes together to worship the Lord and study scripture with others that believe, act, and have like practices. Such as baptism, or certain doctrine that unite them together.

But God, Himself said we are a nation, a nation within a nation. We may live in as some called, a non Christian nation, But we are a nation founded on Christian principles, claimed by the most of our founding Fathers, which claimed Christian Faith or attended Christian Churches. There is a Christian Nation within this secular liberal America and that nation is the church of Jesus Christ.

That is why no matter what comes against America, selective judgment, bad economic news or natural disaster, God will not leave nor forsake HIS nation of believers within America.

It is time for the nation of believes to lay aside manmade traditions that put barriers between the Faithful and join together to form the end time truth army that will rise above political, social and economic challenges, and become the Nation that God has called us to be, a strong nation of Biblical. Christ centered, men and women, the body of Christ, The Church.
