Seeds

Success by the Word
A seed is the beginning of all things!

1. Deception is the birthplace of all pain!
What is the one way that the enemy attacks us? That is deceiving us in our minds…..
Pain?? Is anything that causes us stress or discomfort. Real or mental!

2. Every Loss is a seed for restoration.
That seed is the desire to regain the thing or things we have lost.

3. Asking is the seed for receiving.
James 4; 3. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. IF you never ask you will never receive
Even though our Father knows what we have need of (Matt 6:3 2)

4. Every seed has a different Future!
Each seed is planted to fulfill a certain need or desire. Therefore we need to beware of the types of seed we plant. The wrong seed will bring forth WEEDS and THORNS.

5. Giants are not a sign of our exit from Egypt---Giants are proof of our entry into Canaan.
Phil 3; 13. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus
Don’t look back to our sorrows, our disappointments, or failures but look ahead toward the new challenges, victories and REWARDS.

6. Mercy is the seed for Change.
Without mercy there can be very little or any change in a relationship. (unconditional forgiveness)

7. What you keep is your harvest, what you sow is your seed.
What you keep is for your personnel use, and those close to you.
You sowing is like what we call “Paying Foreward”. It comes back to you not added but multiplied.

8. Words are the Seeds for Change.
All words have power and ability in them .
Prov 18: 21. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

9.Your seed can go places you can not go….
Think of all the places your tithes and offerings can go that you probably never go.. We as well as Chapel of Victory (our church) pay tithes that go forth and gives offering that benefit others and gives them the ability to sow even further. Than we even reap from their harvest.

10. Whatever you are you reproduce.
Like seeds produce like seeds… if you are a good producing seed your seed will produce good seeds etc. There are things that can also improve or corrupt any seed that we have to watch out for and protect.
Could you??

We have all seen pictures, articles, and even movies about the Jewish Holocaust. We have drawn our own ideas about what the German people did or didn’t know about what was going on and what we would have done if we had been there! Could we have done some of the thing that we know happened to the Jewish and other people? Have you ever thought “I could never have done that, even under orders from an authority figure”
MAYBE?? HUMMMMMMM OK? Think on this!\
An experiment was done with 40 people, an authority figure (in a white coat to show authority) and an actor!
The actor was behind a wall with the authority and the other one (student) on the other side. In front of the student was a dial and switch, that showed Electric Voltage from 15 to over 450 volts (450 and it is death to the person receiving the voltage
The student tuned the dial up and hit the switch, piped in electric noise followed with a yell from the actor as in pain. After the dial had been turned up a ways and the screams got louder. Some of the students started to protest and didn’t want to go on.
The person in authority kept encouraging them. With thing as “ you need to go on” and as they protested (the students) the suggestions become more forceful.
Such as “ it is important that you continue with the experiment”
The last one was a command “ YOU HAVE TO DO IT”
One refused to go any higher than about 100 volts.
NOW guess what out of 40 students 25 went on to the 450 volts that would have killed the actor..
Still think you would be like one of the others or would you have went on

Our Past

Do not live in the Past!

Have you done thing(S) that you are not proud of? Things that keep coming back to haunt you? Things that makes you think at times, stop or at least make you slow down and wonder if you should or can do them in your walk (Callings) with the Lord? Was this before you were born again? Are you born again now, are you a Christian?
Note:
2 Cor 5; 17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

What does this speak to you after you accept Christ as your Savior and your Lord? It says that any thing (any, all) you did before you became a Christian is no more, the NEW you did none of those thing and THEY are not recorded in your book of Life!!

Now that you are a Christian (Blood Bought) and you mess up than what? ‘If we ask for forgiveness and repent (turn from) the Words says!
1 John 1: 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
It is as if we have started over again, there should be nothing holding us back from doing the Callings of ( Jehovah) God on our lives.
Do we now understand that God holds nothing against us to keep us from doing what HE has called us to do?

Phil 3; 13. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Do we truly forget those things that were behind us? Do we remember the time that we prayed for some little thing and we felt like we didn’t get the answer? Did we never or seldom pray for that type of prayer again? Maybe NO!
WHY NOT? Is it because we are not able to forget those past prayers or past deeds, past (we consider) failures or does the enemy keeps bringing the past up to us. Remind the enemy and EVEN more IMPORTANT ourselves that all these (negative things) are in the PAST. They are no more in our lives or have any effect on our Prayers, Authority, or Power that we have received from the Birth, Death, or Resurrection of Jesus, the Christ.

The only thing that does is ourselves, and our ability to forget and forgive ourselves, and press on toward that HIGH CALLING OF GOD for us. YOU AND I !!
And the enemy‘s (satan) ability to convince us that
1. Our past is in the road
2. Those things have been done way with such as
A. healings
B. miracles
C. our authority, power, and ability
Through the Holy Spirit.
Matt 17: 20; If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

STAND AND BE BOLD IN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FATHER AND HIS SON, JESUS

The Wilderness

The Wilderness

The wilderness was a valley that the Israelites had to go through to reach God’s BEST for them. It was a valley of their own making because of their complaining, bickering and unbelief (that God wasn’t taking care of them). God never intended for them to go through the wilderness His plan was for them to go from the land of lack (Egypt) through the land of better (anything was better than being slaves in Egypt) right to the Land of Best (the Promised Land)
Just as there are many valleys that we go through that are there because of ourselves.
Psalms 23, tells us that though we walk thru the valley of the shadow of death.. Walk through not hang around in. He is with us and Quote “ Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow (be with us) all the days of my life. (while alive) and I will dwell (live in, take up habitation) in the house of the Lord, forever. (not after we die but now while we are living, in heaven we won’t need all these things like mercy and goodness) we need them NOW!
After 40 years in the Wilderness and their Leader MOSES had died Jehovah God told Joshua (1;3) that every place the soles of your feet touch that I have given unto you, even as I said to Moses.
He, God wants us to live in the Land of Best for us… and He wants us to take as many as we can with us.. (those that will agree and walk with us according to Matt 18: 29) or we can agree with them.
Being a child of God alone gives us the right to be blessed on earth, as if you were living in Heaven, Matt 6:10 “The will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS. (JOSHUA 1;7 ) AND DON’T LET THE ENEMY MAKE YOU COMPROMISE YOUR BEST FOR SOMETHING BETTER.
AMEN

Whose Report

April 3, 11...Main lesson

WHOSE REPORT

Rom 1; 17. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith
Who is the righteous of God. Who lives by faith?

Who do we get to pray for us to have more faith? WE DON”T
So how do we receive faith in any area of our lives?
Rom 10: 17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Heb 11; 6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
SO without faith we can not please GOD and receive from HIM. RIGHT?

OK NOW LETS GO ON TO THE LESSON FOR TODAY!!

Isaiah 53 :1. Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
Whose report are we to believe in Jehovah, Yahweh, Father God’s
And we are to do what with it. Have faith in it or complete confidence, trust in HIS REPORT!
What does the ARM OF THE LORD mean? The arm of the Lord means HIS (NOTE HIS) anointing, HIS power, His Authority to reveal HIS REPORT in OUR lives!

SO WHOSE REPORT ARE WE GOING TO BELIEVE!!
2 Cor 5; 7. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Do we believe what God’s report says or do we believe what we perceive by our five (5) senses? DO we believe the thoughts that the enemy puts in our mind? WHOSE DO WE BELIEVE?

1. The enemy tells you he is going to kill you or that you are going to die of something or the other?
Who do WE believe him or Do WE believe
Psalms 91: 16. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

2. The enemy is going to send something or someone to hurt or destroy you…….WHOSE REPORT DO WE BELIEVE?
Psalms 91: 13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet
AS WELL AS
Luke 10: 19. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

3. WE, your child, mate, or someone you love or maybe just know has received a negative report by knowledge or from a doctor, etc?
WHOSE REPORT??
What you hear or think or NOTE what God’s report in says
Matt 8: 16. When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

4. Last one. WE get a bill or a phone call that if you don’t do such and such by this date. You know right now you don’t have what you need to make the dead line?
WHOSE REPORT DO WE BELIVE
What we have seen or heard or do we believe HIS REPORT IN
Phil 4;
13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
19. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 5: 7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Finally
Phil 4: 7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Let the peace of God give us peace where there should be no peace, He loves us and cares for us.
Colo 3; 15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,
Not the stress and strife that the enemy is so fond of trying to get us to live in!

Decree and declare
Heb 4:14
Hold fast to your profession of Faith
Heb 4: 14. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Decree--I decree….I make it a low in my life
Declare--make it know- a clear declaration. CLEARLY TESTIFY>
For my children, grandchildren and my family
THEREFORE I DECREE AND DECLARE
THAT MY FAMILY AND I ARE!
.
1. I decree and declare that MY FAMILY IS reconciled (Bought back) to our Father, God. Rom 5: 10. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

We are anointed of God to do the work of the Gospel
2 cor 1: 21. Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed (SET APART) us, is God;

2. Rooted in, built up and established in Faith (Col 2: 7. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving)

3. Healed by the stripes of Jesus from the crown of our head to the soles of our feet (1 peter 2; 24. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed)

4. Healing power flows from our hands to the sick and they will recover. (Mark 16; 18. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.)

5 . WE are Quantified to share in the inheritance of Jesus (Rom 8: 17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.)

6. WE have a hedge of protection around us (psalms 91) (Job 1: 10. Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land)

7. WE Have supernatural strength to and ability to fight the good fight of Faith and defeat the enemy (satan)(Luke 10:19. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.)

8. We are equipped with multi million ideas and dreams
9. We are stewards of Great wealth
Deut 8: 17. And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
18. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

10 No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isa 54;17. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord)
Note the last part of this. Who does this belong to? And we are righteous because of who?

11.Not by our power or our strength but by HIS Spirit says the Lord (Zechariah 4;6. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.)
Mark 16:15-20, The word and the Holy Spirit working with us to do the works of the Gospel….!

Very Important..

a word of prophecy I just read'1st week of Jan! The Lord said " Go tell the believers warming the pews a new fire is upon them, I will release their inner most being, Out of them will flow rivers of living waters. I will be set free in my people who have me captive in them
There are those that play church and will NOT hear my warnings

Prayer for all

Yes JESUS always was, and is, and will always be my LORD and my SAVIOR no matter what people have done or will do to me in my life. And for all those who have and are wasting there time believing the lies of the Devil; Well I will keep praying for you that the TRUTH (JESUS) will make you free, and heal, and deliever you from the clutches of the lies, the spirit of deception, and the enemy of our souls. The plan of the Devil is always the same. To bring separation and division among the people of GOD. For the Devil comes only but to steal, kill, and destroy says the LORD; But I the LORD have come that you will have life and that life more abundantly. So whose report will you believe. I choose to believe the report of the LORD who does not lie or decieve HIS people. And so now FATHER I plead the BLOOD OF JESUS over every spirit of deception that have captured the minds of the people of GOD, and from every familiar and lying spirit that is still speaking and lying to the people of GOD and is keeping them from hearing and knowing the truth. I ask, decree, and pray this all in the matchless name of Your SON JESUS, the name that is above every name, the name that every knee has to bow to and every tongue has to confess to. And I thank you now for hearing, and for answering prayer.
In JESUS name. Amen.

IT is no Secrete

Back in the 50's there was a well known radio
host/comedian/song writer in Hollywood named
Carl Stuart Hamblen who was noted for his drinking,
womanizing, partying, etc.
One of his bigger hits at the time was
"I won't go hunting with you Jake,
but I'll go chasing women."

One day, along came a young preacher holding
a tent revival. Hamblen had him on his radio show
presumably to poke fun at him.
In order to gather more material for his show,
Hamblen showed up at one of the revival meetings.

Early in the service the preacher announced, "There is one man
in this audience who is a big fake." There were probably others

who thought the same thing, but Hamblen was convinced that he
was the one the preacher was talking about (some would call that

conviction) but he was having none of that.

Still the words continued to haunt him until a couple of nights
later he showed up drunk at the preacher's hotel door around
2 AM demanding that the preacher pray for him! But the
preacher refused, saying, "This is between you and God and
and I'm not going to get in the middle of it." But he did invite
Stuart in and they talked until about 5 AM at which point
Stuart dropped to his knees and with tears, cried out to God.

But that is not the end of the story. Stuart quit drinking,
quit chasing women, quit everything that was 'fun.'
Soon he began to lose favour with the Hollywood crowd.
He was ultimately fired by the radio station when
he refused to accept a beer company as a sponsor.
Hard times were upon him. He tried writing a couple
of "Christian" songs but the only one that had
much success was "This Old House",
written for his friend Rosemary Clooney.

As he continued to struggle, a long time friend named
John took him aside and told him, "All your truoubles
started when you 'got religion,' was it worth it all?"
Stuart answered simply, "Yes."

Then his friend asked, "You liked your booze so much,
don't you ever miss it?" His answer was, "No."John
then said, "I don't understand how you could give it
up so easily..."

And Stuart's response was, "It's no big secret.
All things are possible with God." To this John said,
"That's a catchy phrase. You should write a song about it."
And as they say, "The rest is history."

The song Carl Stuart Hamblen wrote was "It Is No Secret."

"It is no secret what God can do.
What He's done for others, He'll do for you.
With arms wide open, He'll welcome you.
It is no secret, what God can do...."

By the way... the friend was John Wayne.
And the young preacher who refused to pray for Stuart Hamblen?
...That was Billy Graham.

Prisioner

Forgiveness is setting a prisioner FREE
and than realizing that the prisioner is YOU

powerful WORDS

Someone has written these beautiful words.
One must read and try to understand the deep meanings in them.
They are like the Ten Commandments to follow in life all the time.

1] Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble;
it is a "steering wheel" that directs us in the right path throughout life.

2] Do you know why a car's WINDSHIELD
is so large & the rear view mirror is so small?
Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE.
So, look ahead and move on.

3] Friendship is like a BOOK..
It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

4] All things in life are temporary.
If going well enjoy it, they will not last forever.
If going wrong don’t worry, they can't last long either.

5] Old friends are like Gold! New friends are Diamonds!
If you get a Diamond, don't forget the Gold!
Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a base of Gold!

6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end,
GOD smiles from above and says, "Relax, my child,
it's just a bend, not the end!

7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities;
when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

8] A blind person asked St. Anthony:
"Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?"
He replied: "Yes, losing your vision."

9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them;
and sometimes, when you are safe and happy,
remember that someone has prayed for you.

10] WORRYING does not take away tomorrow's TROUBLES;
it takes away today’s PEACE.

Who is your daddy

A seminary professor was vacationing with his wife in Gatlinburg , TN. right about the time World War I was over. One morning, they were eating their breakfast at a little restaurant, hoping to enjoy a quiet, family meal. While they were waiting for their food, they noticed a distinguished looking, white-haired man moving from table to table, visiting with the guests. The professor leaned over and whispered to his wife, 'I hope he doesn't come over here.' But sure enough, the man did come over to their table.

'Where are you folks from?' he asked in a friendly voice.
' Oklahoma,' they answered.
'Great to have you here in Tennessee ,' the stranger said.'What do you do for a living?' 'I teach at a seminary,'he replied.

'Oh, so you teach preachers how to preach, do you? Well, I've got a really great story for you.' And with that, the gentleman pulled up a chair and sat down at the table with the couple.

The professor groaned and thought to himself, 'Great .. Just what I need ...another preacher story!'

The man started, 'See that mountain over there? (pointing out the restaurant window). Not far from the base of that mountain, there was a boy born to an unwed mother. He had a hard time growing up, because every place he went, he was always asked the same question, 'Hey boy, Who's your daddy?' Whether he was at school, in the grocery store or drug store, people would ask the same question, 'Who's your daddy?'

He would hide at recess and lunch time from other students. He would avoid going in to stores because that question hurt him so bad. 'When he was about 12 years old, a new preacher came to his church. He would always go in late and slip out early to avoid hearing the question, 'Who's your daddy?' But one day, the new preacher said the benediction so fast that he got caught and had to walk out with the crowd.

Just about the time he got to the back door, the new preacher, not knowing anything about him, put his hand on his shoulder and asked him, 'Son, who's your daddy?'

The whole church got deathly quiet. He could feel every eye in the church looking at him. Now everyone would finally know the answer to the question, 'Who's your daddy?'

'This new preacher, though, sensed the situation around him and using discernment that only the Holy Spirit could give, said the following to that scared little boy... 'Wait a minute! I know who you are! I see the family resemblance now, You are a child of God.' With that he patted the boy on his shoulder and said, 'Boy, you've got a great inheritance. Go and claim it.'

'With that, the boy smiled for the first time in a long time and walked out the door a changed person.. He was never the same again. Whenever anybody asked him, 'Who's your Daddy?' he'd just tell them , 'I'm a Child of God..''

The distinguished gentleman got up from the table and said, 'Isn't that a great story?' The professor responded that it really was a great story!

As the man turned to leave, he said, 'You know, if that new preacher hadn't told me that I was one of God's children, I probably never would have amounted to anything!' And he walked away.

The seminary professor and his wife were stunned. He called the waitress over & asked her, 'Do you know who that man was -- the one who just left that was sitting at our table?'

The waitress grinned and said, 'Of course. Everybody here knows him. That's Ben Hooper. He's the governor of Tennessee ..'

Someone in your life today needs a reminder that they're one of God's children.

'The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of God stands forever.' ~~Isaiah

YOU'RE ONE OF GOD'S CHILDREN.
HAVE A GREAT DAY.

Would you keep this going? You have no idea which one of YOUR e-mail buddies could use a little hope today.

Plant a seed

A successful business man was growing old and knew it was time
to choose a successor to take over the business.

Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children, he
decided to do something different. He called all the young
executives in his company together.

He said, "It is time for me to step down and choose the next
CEO. I have decided to choose one of you. "The young executives
were Shocked, but the boss continued. "I am going to give each
one of you a SEED today - one very special SEED. I want you to
plant the seed, water it, and come back here one year from
today with what you have grown from the seed I have given you.
I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one
I choose will be the next CEO."

One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the
others, received a seed. He went home and excitedly, told his
wife the story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and
he planted the seed. Everyday, he would water it and watch to see
if it had grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow.

Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew.

Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still
nothing.

By now, others were talking about their plants, but Jim didn't have a plant and he felt like a failure.

Six months went by -- still nothing in Jim's pot. He just knew he had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however, he just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - He so wanted the seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company brought their plants to the CEO for
inspection.

Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But she asked him to be honest about what happened. Jim felt sick to his stomach, it was going to be the most embarrassing moment of his life, but he knew his wife was right. He took his empty pot to the board room. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at
the variety of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful -- in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed, a few felt sorry for him!

When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his
young executives.

Jim just tried to hide in the back. "My, what great plants, trees and flowers you have grown," said the CEO. "Today one of you will be appointed the next CEO!"

All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered the Financial Director to bring him to the front. Jim was terrified. He thought, "The CEO knows I'm a failure! Maybe he will have me fired!"

When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened to his seed - Jim told him the story.

The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim. He looked at Jim, and then announced to the young executives, "Behold your next Chief Executive
Officer!

His name is Jim!" Jim couldn't believe it. Jim couldn't even grow his seed.

"How could he be the new CEO?" the others said.

Then the CEO said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds; they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow.

All of you, except Jim, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Jim was the only one with the
courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new
Chief Executive Officer!"

What do you hear? And what are you listlening for.
I was made mindful of something today and it triggered my memory of a story I heard one time.
That went like this. “ A Native American and his friend were in downtown New York City, walking
near Times Square in Manhattan. It was during the noon lunch hour and the streets were filled with
people. Cars were honking their horns, taxicabs were squealing around corners, sirens were wailing,
and the sounds of the city were almost deafening. Suddenly, the Native American said, "I hear a cricket."
His friend said, "What? You must be crazy. You couldn't possibly hear a cricket in all of this noise!"
"No, I'm sure of it," the Native American said, "I heard a cricket." "That's crazy," said the friend.
The Native American listened carefully for a moment, and then walked across the street to a big
cement planter where some shrubs were growing. He looked into the bushes, beneath the branches,
and sure enough, he located a small cricket. His friend was utterly amazed.
"That's incredible," said his friend. "You must have super-human ears!"
"No," said the Native American. "My ears are no different from yours. It all depends on what you're
listening for."
"But that can't be!" said the friend. "I could never hear a cricket in this noise."
"Yes, it's true," came the reply. "It depends on what is really important to you. Here, let me show you."
He reached into his pocket, pulled out a few coins, and discreetly dropped them on the sidewalk. And then,
with the noise of the crowded street still blaring in their ears, they noticed every head within twenty feet turn
and look to see if the money that tinkled on the pavement was theirs.
"See what I mean?" asked the Native American. "It all depends on what's important to you."
So let’s make this thing personal and let me ask you, What's important to you? What do you listen for?
Are there times that you fail to hear to God or see what God is doing in your life because you
are focused on other things that are more important to you?
Jesus said, "For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes
they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with
their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear." Matt. 13:15-16)

First what do you think of THIIS statement?

What do you think of that and what does it say to you? Open to discussion.

ACTS 9: 29. And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
ACTS 13; 46. Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles
ACTS 19: 8. And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

20. For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Here is a true story about boldness….. Listen carefully and you judge!

In December, 1999, Donnell Duncan stood over the corpse of a 16 year old member of his father’s church. He was in the middle of a funeral service with about one thousand teenagers crying out in pain because of the tragic loss.
Many of them were not Christians but they all had some connection to the deceased
God gave Donnell simple instructions, “Open your mouth and speak life into the body of the young man and I will do what you say

WHAT HAPPENED? What is the rest of the story as Paul Harvey use to say?

As soon as he got the opportunity, he positioned himself over the casket and froze. What if people heard him? What if it didn’t work? He didn’t have the faith! He walked away broken hearted and afraid without ever saying a word.
Eight years later, he released the information to The Church that he wished he had on that

WHAT HAPPENED to him--Fear-- 2Tim 1; 7. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
How about did he lose faith in HIS Faith ad the WORD of GOD!?

JERMI 5: 14. Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
ISA 55; 11. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
