Easter 2012
Matt 16: 15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, (anointed, i.e. the Messiah) the Son of the living God.
Who do you say HE is?
Easter
Why do we have Easter
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus the Christ
The day that Jesus rose from the dead.
The day our eyes were opened to the fact that He was resurrected
and was the Messiah, the Christ of Old Testament Prophecy
The stone across the door of the tomb was rolled away, and why was it rolled away.. Did Jesus need the stone moved to come out when resurrected? NO.. more than one time He appeared in a room with solid walls…the stone was moved so that we could see that HE WAS NOT THERE…..and open our eyes to the fact that He was resurrected for US.
The day HE went to take keys of
Rev 1: 18. I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
“from the enemy”
Brought Freedom to those in Paradise as they came out of Paradise and it is no more!
Matt 27: 51. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52. And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53. And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
The Beginning of Total Forgiveness
A BIG TRUTH that you will have to understand and remember is that the payment for DEATH can only be accomplished through giving LIFE and this LIFE is in the BLOOD (because without BLOOD there could be no LIFE). As such without pouring out this BLOOD, there could be no payment for SIN (which is Death).
"If No Blood is Shed, No Sins Can be Forgiven." - Hebrews 9:22
Heb 9; 11. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Jesus took HIS Blood to the heavenly Holy of Holies and put it on the Mercy Seat for our total forgiveness…and that we can be Totally Forgiven and also to enter bodly into the presence of our Father.
IF WE SIN THAN!
1 John 1: 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The Day of Forgiving
Mark 11: 25. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Matt 5: 23. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24. Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
IT is time for all of us to begin a new book in our lives, Start living the Path that Jesus has laid out for each of us….AMEN!
